CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services will be at the Hauser Funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, for Fred Simerson, 52, farmer near Ionia, who died at his home Sunday morning following a heart attack; burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens near Charles City.

He had lived all his life in the Ionia community and had lived at the farm where he died for the past seven years.

Born at Nashua, April 14, 1901; married Gertrude Ullerich.

Survived by his wife, seven daughters, Mrs. Clair Nehls, Charles City; Sylvia, Charles City; Mrs. Glenn Kennard and Mrs. Dellia Feldpouch, both of Cedar Falls; Mrs. Florence Eilers, Monticello; Mrs. Mary Elliott and Mrs. Jude Deal, both of Chicago, and Mrs. Joe Peterson, Shellsburg; two sons, Robert, Charles City, and James at home, and five grandchildren.

His parents, two brothers, one sister and an infant son preceded him in death.
