H. Peters Dies; Funeral Rites at Rockford Church

ROCKFORD - Harm Peters, 80, died Sunday at his home following an illness of six months. Funeral services will be Wednesday at the First Methodist Church at 2 p.m. with the Rev. George Baker officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery. The Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

A retired farmer, Peters was born Aug. 2, 1875, the son of Bruno and Jessie Peters. He farmed near Aplington, Mason City and Rockford for 40 years and retired to Rockford 11 years ago. He married Nellie Johnson on March 5, 1092, at Aplington.

Survivors include his wife, two children, Mrs. A. A. Jackson, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Gordon Phillips, Rockford; one granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. George Mennen, Parkersburg and two brothers, William, Waterloo, and Pete, Aplington.
