Mrs. Alice E. Boyden Dies

Mrs. Alice E. Boyden died Friday, February 15, 1924, at the home of her sister, Mrs. F. J. Chambers, at Vader. Mrs. Boyden and her mother, Mrs. Mary L. Fisher, came from Mason City, Iowa, October 14, 1923.

Alice Evelyn Fisher was born near Nora Springs, Iowa, October 11, 1879. She was married to Wm. Borchard at Rockford, Iowa, in 1899. To this union was born one daughter, Bessie Irene. Mr. Borchard died of typhoid fever in 1902. Mrs. Borchard and daughter then moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wafford Fisher, to Mason City, Iowa, where she married May 25, 1904 to Frank H. Boyden, who died October 31, 1920. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Warren Fessenden, and granddaughter, Alice Mary, of Mason City, Iowa. She also leaves to mourn her death her mother, Mrs. Mary L. Fisher of Vader and three brothers and three sisters, A. J. Fisher of Rockford, Iowa; William C. and R.A. Fisher of Mason City, Iowa, and Mrs. F.J. Chambers of Vader; Mrs. J.N. Hayes of Rochelle, Ill., and Mrs. E.M. Clymer of Arcadia, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Cattermole undertaking parlors; with interment in the Winlock cemetery.
