Belle Elizabeth Bakeman died at Minneapolis, Minnesota, Wednesday, April 8th aged 44 years.

She had gone to Minneapolis only a few days before to undergo a medical operation from the effects she never rallied. Deceased was married to Charles Bakeman in 1894 and left a husband and three children by a former marriage.

The funeral was held at the M.E. Church Friday afternoon Rev. Shears of Rockford officiating. The remains were interred in the west side cemetery. The bereaved husband and children have the heartfelt sympathy of many friends in this community.
