Rockford Woman
Dies in Hospital

Charles City, Iowa - Funeral services will be held Saturday at p.m. at the Rockford Methodist church for Mrs. Clement Briggs, 50, a lifelong resident of Rockford, who died Thursday morning at the Cedar Valley hospital in Charles City.

The pastor, the Rev. Roscoe Sires will officiate, and burial will be in Riverside cemetery, Rockford, with Grossmann's of Rockford, in charge.

Mrs. Briggs was born in Floyd County on Nov. 13, 1899. She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Betty Briggs, and a brother Freeman Erickson, all of Rockford.
