Dorothy Mildred (Hamm) Baldwin, 91 years old, of Adams, Minnesota, and formerly of Austin, Minnesota, and Nashua, Iowa, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Adams Health Care Center, Adams, Minnesota.

Dorothy was born February 4, 1923, in Charles City, Iowa, the daughter of Milo and Gertrude (Goddard) Hamm. On March 27, 1939, she married Merle J. Baldwin of Nashua, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Merle, and son Glen.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter: Karen (Jim) Scherer of Antioch, Illinois; five grandchildren: Scott (Gina), Shawn (Jan), Kelly (Dave), Stacey, and Debra (Scott); 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in Charles City, Iowa, from 2 to 4 p.m., on May 10, at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local humane society or animal shelter.
