Service: Private family graveside service at Riverside Cemetery.

Louise "2T" M. McIntosh, 83, of Waterloo, died Monday, March 3, 2014 at NorthCrest Specialty Care in Waterloo.

A private family graveside service will be held at a future date at Riverside Cemetery in Charles City.

Louise Marie (Michaelis) McIntosh was born November 6, 1930 to Otto and Juliette (Farcy) Michaelis in Charles City, Iowa. She graduated from Charles City High School.

Louise "2T" and Donald McIntosh were married September 10, 1949 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. She liked to make quilts and sew for her daughters and nieces. Louise and Don worked on puzzles together in their spare time. She also enjoyed reading Amish books, going for rides on weekends and working on other crafts. Louise loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Living family members include her husband of 64 years, Don; daughters: Jacque (Ron) Seehase and Jerri (Rex) Iehl; five grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother, Don (AKemi) Michaelis of Dallas, Tex.; sister, Betty (Tony) Colonnese; sister-in-law Darlys (Jim) Michaelis of Charles City along with other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Juliette Michaelis; brothers: George, Harry and Jim Michaelis; sister, Mildred Tompkins; great-granddaughter, Makenzi Iehl; father-in-law, Jess McIntosh; and mother-in-law, Lillian Martin.
