CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Betty Lou Markle, 64, of Charles City, died at home Thursday, May 6, 1993, of cancer.

Survivors include her husband, David; a son, Bruce of San Diego; a daughter, Barb Otto of Charles City; two sisters, Marth Hoelter of San Francisco and Lora Zeinum of Nogales, Arizona; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Allan and Richard Knutson.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Charles City, with burial in New Hampton Cemetery.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, Charles City, where family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation also an hour before services at the Church.

Mrs. Markle was former bookkeeper for John Deere Implement in Greene and Charles City.
