CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Services for Hazel Pearl Burgess, 93, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hage Funeral Home, Charles City. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

She died of natural causes on Wednesday, January 27, 1988, at the Salsbury Baptist Home, Charles City.

Survivors include a daughter, Velma Hudson of Redwood, Calif.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Bernice Cardlin of Phoenix, Arizona, who was reared by Mrs. Burgess; and Bessie Cox of Stanton Island, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, in 1956; a daughter; a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Charles City, or the Salsbury Baptist Home.
