OF RUDD DIEDFuneral services for a Rudd man,Louie Kollman, 74, were held in Nora Springs. Mr. Kollman died Saturday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage. Masonic rites were held Monday evening, at the Sheckler Funeral Home. Burial was at Riverside cemetery, Rudd.
Louie C. Kollman was born on May 22, 1897, at Rudd, the son of Otto and Martha Kollman.
Ethel Marchant and Louise Kollman were married December 24, 1918. He was a truck driver and Carpenter and served as director of the Farmers Mutual Telephone company at Rudd for 12 years.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; two sons, Darwin Kollman of Osage, and LaVern Kollman of Rudd; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Hampson (Darlene) of St. Paul, and Mrs. Harold White (Bonita) of Rudd; one sister, Mrs. Clifford Riehm of Garner; one brother, Alvin Kollman of New York state; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his son; his parents, two sisters, one brother and a great-grandchild.
