FUNERAL HELD FOR

MRS. MARY FERGUSON

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 13, 1971, for Mrs. Mary Ferguson, 88, who died Wednesday, February 10, 1971, at a rest home in Cresco, Iowa.

Rev. B. Henrichs was in charge of services at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Chisholm Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mary M. Bunze was born on July 12, 1882 in Hamburg, Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bunze. The family moved to Charles City in 1884.

John Ferguson and Mary Bunze were married on April 23, 1902 in Charles City, Iowa, where they lived until March 1922, when they moved to a farm near Riceville, Iowa. They retired and moved to Elma in 1937.

She is survived by one son, Marvin, of Minneapolis; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, her parents, one son, Harold, and a son, Charles, who died in infancy.
