Torrence, Sarah Elizabeth

Torrance - Died, at her home in this city, March 13, 1894, Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Torrence, aged 52 years, 11 months and 22 days.

Up to within a short time of her death Mrs. Torrence was not thought to be dangerously ill, and her death was therefore considerably of a surprise to her friends. The cause of her death, was, perhaps, the result of a recent attack of la grippe. She is the first to die of a family of five, three brothers and two sisters.

She leaves one son, C. D. Torrrence, and her mother and only sister in this city to mourn her death, besides her three brothers residing elsewhere.

Funeral will occur today at 3 o'clock at the home and will be conducted under the auspices of the First Church of Christ (Scientist). Interment will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
