DEATH CALLS HIM

W. H. Herrington of This County Dies in Davenport of Cancer Trouble.

R. J. Lackey, as master of the local lodge of Masons A. F. and A. M., is i receipt of news of the death of W. H. Herrington a well to do farmer and well driller of this county. Mr. Lackey was telegraphed Saturday night at 9:27 that Mr. Herrington was in a precarious condition. He answered promptly but today a second message came telling of the death.

Mrs. Herrington was with her husband. He died of cancer of the stomach and the remains will arrive in this city accompanied by the widow tomorrow at 12:20 o'clock p.m.

Mrs. Herrington has a brother John, living on the west side, and a brother, George, who resides east of the city adjoining the W. H. Herrington farm.

Ellridge Stuart and Mrs. Alice Saul of the west side are near relatives of the deceased.
