Packard, Gertrude

PACKARD - In Charles City, Iowa, at noon, Thursday, December 13, 1894, of typhoid fever, Gertrude, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. N. L. Packard, aged 7 years, 8 months and 5 days.

Gertrude is said to have been a precocious child, lovable in disposition and a favorite with all who knew her. She had been sick two weeks, and the loss comes with stinging force to the bereaved parents, to whom the sympathy of all will be extended in this their hour of bereavement.

The funeral will occur at the Congregational church this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Sedgwick, of Nashua, conducting the funeral services.
