Nora Springs, Iowa — Tanya L. Frenz, 38, of Nora Springs, died Friday, September 6, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, September 12, at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye Ave., Nora Springs, with Pastor Wendy Johannesen officiating.

The family will greet friends an hour prior to Tanya’s service on Thursday.

Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Tanya’s name in care of her family.

Obituary for Tanya L. Frenz

Tanya L. Frenz, 38, of Nora Springs, Iowa died Friday Sept. 6, 2013 at the Mercy Medical Center North Iowa, Mason City, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday (September 12, 2013) at Sheckler Colonial Chapel, 114 N. Hawkeye Ave., Nora Springs, with Pastor Wendy Johannesen officiating.

The family will greet friends one hour prior to Tanya's service on Thursday.

Should friends desire, memorials may be left in Tanya's name in care of her family.

Tanya was born August 11, 1975 in Globe, Arizona the daughter of Al and Betty (Holding) Frenz. She moved with her family to Mason City, Iowa where she graduated from Mason City High School in 1994.

She was a loving daughter and enjoyed spending time and taking care of her mother and step father.

She enjoyed playing DS; Wii; watching sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings; collecting Teddy Bears and being with her companion dog, Willie.

Tanya is survived by her mother Betty Frenz and step father Jerry Hinkel, Nora Springs, Iowa; siblings Shari (Greg) Vick, Owatonna, Minnesota, Michele Hinkel, Mason City, Iowa and Greg (Dawn) Hinkel, Northwood, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, and cousins and her companion dog, Willie.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and father Al Frenz.
