Charles City, Iowa — Wilma Stites, 77, of Charles City, died Monday, August 5, 2013, at the 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home.
Funeral services for Wilma Stites will be 1 p.m. on Friday, August 9, at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton. Pastor Jerry Weller will officiate. Burial will be at Hilltown Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday from 11:30 a.m. to time of service at the funeral home in Moulton.
The Hauser Funeral Home, 641-228-2323, in Charles City, is in charge of local arrangements.

Wilma Mae Stites was born January 30, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Hazel Smith. She grew up in Chariton and graduated from high school. In September 1954 she was united in marriage to Gene Kline. They made their home in Albia and raised three children.
In June, 1970, Wilma was united in marriage to Raymond Junior Stites. The couple made their home in Chariton for a short while before moving to Charles City where they lived for the remainder of Wilma's life. Wilma retired from Sara Lee in 1998. In the 43 years spent together, Wilma and Junior enjoyed a happy marriage without any disagreements or arguments.
Wilma liked to go fishing and camping. She and Junior had camped in the same spot in Lime Springs for 26 years. She also enjoyed taking care of her yard, her home and traveling to South Dakota and going through Custer State Park.
Living family members include her husband, Junior Stites; sons, Allen (Leann) Kline and Dale (Tess) Kline; step-son, Michael (Carol) Stites; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Duane Kline; and two step-daughters, Jolene Stites Curtis and Vicki Stites Donath
