September 29, 1893
DIED: Sunday morning about 7 o'clock at her home one mile north of town. Mrs. M. Bracken, aged __ years. Funeral took place Tuesday at 2:30 in the afternoon. Rev. Wills officiating. Mrs. Bracken and her sister were both severely hurt sometime ago by being thrown from a buggy by a runaway horse. Mrs. Bracken sustained injuries from which she never recovered. She leaves a husband and five little children to mourn her untimely death.
