Died: At the home of her daughter Mrs. M.E. Arkills January 19, 1894, Grandma Bartlett, aged 82 years, 11 months. Mrs. Bartlett was born in Montgomery county, New York in May 1811; was converted to the Christian belief at the age of 15 and has been a constant follower of Christ until her death. She had made all arrangements for her funeral so far as it was in her power. The funeral was held in the Baptist church at this place on Saturday. Rev. Riches of Nora Springs officiating. The remains were taken to Clarksville for interment.
