CHARLES CITY - Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, with a family prayer service at the Hauser funeral home at 1:30 p.m. and church services to follow at the Eden Presbyterian church near Rudd at 2:30 p.m. for Mrs. John Benker, 80, of Charles City, who died Friday afternoon at the Cedar Valley hospital; burial in Evergreen cemetery near Rudd; had been in failing health several years; had lived in Charles City since 1946 when the family moved here from Rosemont, Neb.; survived by husband; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Morrow, rural Charles City, Mrs. George Smidt, Hasings, Neb., two sons Andrew Benker, Charles City, and Arthur Benker, Waco, Tex.
