Beverly Jean Lodge

Beverly Jean Lodge, 73, a retired entrepreneur, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away June 19, 2013.

She was born in Charles City, Iowa, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1994.

Beverly is survived by a son, Eric Lodge and his wife, Paula, of Castle Pines, Colorado, and her mother, Grace Heddens of Charles City.

Shortly after graduating high school she married her childhood sweetheart, John Clarke Lodge, and followed him during his 20 years in the U.S. Navy. John was a corporate pilot until his death in 1990. Eric is now a professional pilot in Colorado flying private jets throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Beverly also had her private pilot license, real estate license, and scuba open-water dive certification. She loved garage sales, thrift shops and spending time with her three grand-daughters; Maggie, Katie and Hannah Lodge.

The family would like to thank all the well-wishers in Beverly’s groups and apologize for not having an open funeral or memorial service because of living out-of-town.
