Lori Meyer Burman, 54, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and formerly Charles City, Iowa, died on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Gunderson Lutheran Health in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
A celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Pastor Jim Beranek will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Charles City.
Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Lori Meyer Burman, 54, of Trempealeau, Wisconsin, and formerly of Charles City, Iowa, died on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Gundersen Lutheran Health Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Lori Elizabeth Meyer Burman was born April 17, 1959, at Charles City, the daughter of Victor and Phyllis (Frudden) Meyer. She attended school in Charles City graduating in 1977 and continued her education receiving a four-year degree from UNI and an associate of science degree from Hawkeye Community College.
On August 6, 1988, she was united in marriage to David Burman in her backyard on the banks of the Cedar River. Lori worked at Allen Memorial Hospital for 28 years as an EKG Technician and a Cardiac Rehab Specialist.
She was an avid bicyclist who participated in RAGBRAI on numerous occasions and had ridden her bicycle to all of the highest points in Colorado. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter KL in Cedar Falls. Lori loved bicycling, walking in the woods, bird watching and just enjoyed nature in general. She was always up for a good cup of coffee or a good glass of wine.
Living family members include her husband, Dave of Trempealeau, Wis.; mother, Phyllis Meyer of Charles City; three siblings, Leslie (Dr. Kevin) Kane of Dubuque, Lisa Meyer (Sam Grabarski) of St. Paul, Minn. and Chuck (Christi) Meyer of Charles City; four nieces and nephews, Dr. Nicholas (Dr. Adrienne) Kane, Keriann Kane (Chad Lynch-friend), Brendon Kane (Ashley Beaves-friend) and Madison Meyer; along with other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Meyer and mother-in-law Mildred Burman.
