Be Held in RuddRUDD, IOWA - Funeral services for George Anderson*, steward of the Butler county home, who died Wednesday morning following chest injuries in an accident** Tuesday, will be held here at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church. Burial will be in Rudd cemetery.
Born in 1886 at Vejle, Denmark, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Anderson, he came to United Sates in 1905. He was married at Rudd in 1905 to Elbe Kollman. They made their home in Rudd until 1935, when Mr. Anderson became manager of an Emil Tyden farm near Dougherty. In 1938 he was appointed as steward of the Butler county home.
Besides his widow he is survived by two daughters, Marie and Beulah, both employed at Washington, D.C., a son, Lloyd G., address unknown, an enlistee in the marines and last heard from when evacuated from Hong Kong, China; a brother, Evert, of Nora Springs, and three brothers and a sister in Denmark.
