CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Services for Harold Arthur Kress, 84, of Charles City, who died Sunday night (Jan. 24, 1988) at Floyd County Veterans Memorial Hospital, Charles City, of undisclosed causes, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Hage Funeral Home, Charles City; burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens Cemetery, Charles City.

Survivors include his wife, Lenora; a son, Arthur of Cross Lake, Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Jackie Pritchard of Hastings, Minn. four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Opal Wood of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Wednesday and until services Thursday.

Mr. Kress worked for the former Oliver Corp. for 20 years, the Charles City Bottle Works until its closing and at Farmer's Coop for nearly 15 years before retiring in 1968.
