POMEROY DIES IN RUDD HOME

Services for Aged Retired
Farmer to Be Held on Tuesday

RUDD, IOWA - Funeral services for Henry Pomeroy, 88, retired farmer of Rudd, who died at his home early Saturday morning. will be held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the home, and at 2 o'clock at the M.E. church, with the Rev. Will Kirwin officiating. Burial will be in the Rudd cemetery.

He moved to Rudd in 1863 from Wisconsin and lived near Rudd until 1899, when he moved to this town where he had resided since. He had served on the city council for a number of years in the past.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Clara Sanders, of Charles City.
