Mrs. Lacoste Funeral Held in Rudd Church

RUDD, Jan. 10 -- Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Herbert Lacoste, nee Neva Mathers, at the M.E. church with the Rev. H.F. Mercer officiating. Ivan Bartz, William Willett, Phillip Ell and Paul Stalker sang with Mrs. H.F. Mercer as accompanist. Pallbearers were: Edwin, Harold and Kieth Lacoste, Bernard Schuster, Clarence Matte and Lynn Rathjen. She was a member of the Standard Bearers, who with their leader, Mrs. Fred Osterhage, were an honor guard. Her mother, Mrs. Warren Mathers, and her sisters, Arlene, Virginia and Beverly, all of Mason City, could not attend the services because of illness. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery beside her infant son, Herbert Jr.
