Death: June 3, 2013Brian Clark, 61, of Charles City, died, Monday, June 3, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City.
Graveside inurnment services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Sunnyside Memory Gardens rural Charles City. Pastor Rod Rindel of New Life Assembly of God will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.
Brian Thomas Clark was born February 11, 1952, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Robert and Norita (Testroet) Clark. He received his GED and then attended Kirkwood College and Mount Mercy. Brian served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a paralegal and with security for several years. His interests were listening and performing music.
Living family members include a daughter, Melissa; granddaughter, Izzy Clark; two brothers, Robert (Linda) Clark of California and Jim (Yvonne) Bottema of LaPorte City; and two sisters, Relia LaGrou of Charles City and Jackie Dunlap and significant other John Ingle of Marble Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
