MRS. HATTIE BAKER SUCCUMBS AT OSAGE FOLLOWING ILLNESS

Osage – Mrs. Hattie Baker, 66, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter; Mrs. A. D. Balsley, after a 10 week’s illness.

She was born here and spent practically all of her life here.

She was married to William Baker in 1893, who survives along with two sons; Dorland of Osage; Dewey of Floyd; and one daughter; Marie Balsley.

MRS. HATTIE BAKER RITES PLANNED AT FLOYD ON SUNDAY

Osage – Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church at Floyd in charge of the Rev. Mr. Haarup for Mrs. Hattie Baker, 66, who died early Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. D. Balsley.

She was born and spent practically her whole life in Osage.

Surviving are her husband, William Baker; two sons, Dorland of Osage, and Dewey of Floyd, and one daughter; Mrs. Marie Balsley of near Orchard. Burial will be at Floyd.

Harriet “Hattie” Cole was the daughter of Martin George Cole and Angeline (Rice) Cole. She married William Edson Baker, the son of Samuel Baker and Cathrine (Miller) Baker.
