F.C. BORNSTEIN, 89, SUCCUMBS

Retired Farmer Dies Following Illness; Services Conducted

CHARLES CITY--Funeral services for Ferdinand C. Bornstein, were conducted at the Lutheran church at 2 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Bornstein died at 9 p.m. Saturday, at his home, 418 South Iowa. He had been in ill health for six years. He had lived in Charles City the past 18 years and before that had been a farmer near Rudd for 41 years.

He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Arnold Nauman of LeRoy, Minn., and Mrs. Sam Roberts of Rudd; two sons, Emil of Rockford, Minn., and Arthur of Floyd.

The Rev. Walter M. Fritschel officiated at the services and burial was made in Evergreen cemetery at Rudd. Grossman's were in charge of arrangements.
