MRS. ELIZA PYLE DIES SUDDENLY
RITES WILL BE TUESDAY AT GROSSMANN’S CHAPELCharles City – Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at Grossman’s chapel for Mrs. Eliza Pyle, 75 who died in the Cedar Valley hospital Saturday following a stroke suffered at her home, 606 ˝ North Main Street, Friday. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. Wesley G. Belling of St. Ansgar will officiate. Mrs. Pyle made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Ebert.
Born at Peoria, Illinois, February 22, 1869, daughter of William and Mary Johnson, she had been a resident of Charles City since 1915. Her husband, Frank Pyle died about 5 years ago.
She is survived by 7 children; William Pyle, Floyd; Mrs. Earl Cundull, Dows; Mrs. Wendell Frazee, Burbank, California; Earl Pyle; Arlow Pyle; Frank Pyle; and Mrs. Arthur Ebert, all of Charles City; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
