Vinton – Franklin Wilson, 49, died Thursday night at his home here of a heart ailment and complications, operated a farm six and a half miles northeast of Vinton but lived in town, had been in ill health since last February

He married Helen Starff of Vinton about 22 years ago and came here from Marble Rock 20 years ago, wife died in 1946, and two years ago Mr. Wilson married Mrs. Nina Reifenstahl

He leaves his widow, one son, by his first marriage, Thomas Student at Iowa State College, Ames; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Lon Wilson, Marble Rock; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Ludwig, Mrs. Clarence Marth Charles City. Funeral Saturday at the Fry-Holland funeral home burial in Evergreen Cemetery.

Franklin O Wilson was born in 1900 in Illinois, the son of Alonzo “Lon” Wilson and Nellie (Beemer) Wilson. The family lived in Floyd County, Iowa
