Frank James Willier – February 17, 1877 – February 28, 1943

Willier, Frank James 66, died suddenly at his farm home 3 miles east of Nora Springs about 5 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at the Patterson Funeral Home with the Reverend Robert Davies, Nora Springs in charge. Burial will be at Rock Grove Cemetery.

FRANK JAMES WILLIER RITES HELD; BURIAL AT ROCK GROVE CEMETERY

Funeral services for Frank James Willier, 66, who died suddenly at his farm home, 3 miles east of Nora Springs, Sunday were held at the Patterson Funeral Home Thursday afternoon, with the Rev. Robert Davies, Nora Springs, in charge.

Mrs. Harold Wolfe sang “City Foursquare” and “Above the Bright Blue”. Mrs. R. E. Patton accompanied at the organ. Mrs. R. H. Moore, Mrs. E. J. Zerble and Mrs. Frank Montgomery were in charge of flowers.

Pallbearers were Guy V O’Neil, F. G. Hintzen, Julius A. Thompson, Rush Moore and F. H. Dickhoff. Burial was at the Rock Grove cemetery; the Patterson Funeral home in charge.

Frank James Willier was born February 17, 1877 in Illinois (WWI Draft Registration). He was the son of John Willier and Maria (Schucker) Willier. (parents names from 1925 Iowa Census)

He married Lila Gage, the daughter of Warren Gage and Mary Belle (Woodhouse) Gage.

After the death of Frank Willier, Lila married George Henry Bobst. In 1945.

(d) Everett 1 6/12 born Iowa..Everett Donald Willier was born June 4, 1918 and died December 4, 1989

(e) Ralph Willier…..he was born Ralph Richard Willier August 19, 1922 in Mason City, Cerro Gordo, Iowa. He died August 6, 2003 in Leland, Winnebago, Iowa
