for Floyd

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Laurie I. Olson, 15, died Saturday at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital about 30 hours after she was injured in a motorcycle accident on a county road a half mile northwest of Floyd Friday.

She was alone on the cycle that apparently went out of control and crashed, according to Floyd County authorities.

Her services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John Lutheran Church; burial in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Monday.

She is survived by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. William H. Olson of Charles City; three sisters, Mrs. Timothy (Vivian) Halloran of Coralville, Mrs. Terry (Martha) Hackbart of Aurora, Colorado, and Sarah, at home; a brother, Phillip of Ames; and grandmothers, Mrs. Aldean J. Olson of Bode and Mrs. Sarah E. Wierson of Ames.
