Lance Christensen, 59, of Charles City, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at his home in Charles City.

Visitation for Lance Christensen, will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauser Funeral Home.

Lance Jay Christensen was born October 9, 1953 in Mason City, Iowa the son of Clifford "Duane" and Joyce (Schilling) Christensen. He graduated from Charles City High School in 1972, and later earned his bachelor's degree from Brenau University. On July 16, 1977 he was united in marriage to Deb Kapping in Charles City. Lance worked as a Production Manager of Poultry Biologics for Ceva. He enjoyed golf, Iowa Hawkeye Football, and taking care of his yard.

Living family members include his wife Deb; three children, Erin, Dustin, and Matthew; siblings, Becky Keller, and Randy Christensen both of Mason City; and his mother Joyce Stenseth.

Lance was preceded in death by his father, and his step-father Earl Stenseth.
