Eldo John Kamin – January 4, 1900 – October 1, 1972

Funeral services for Eldo John Kamin, 72, a resident of R.R.3, Charles City since 1942, will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church.

The Rev. Palmer Weld, and the Rev. Peter Peterson will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Mr. Kamin died Sunday at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Kamin was born in Luana, Iowa on January 4, 1900, the son of Lewis and Marie Kregel Kamin. He received his education in Luana. On February 23, 1927 in Elkader he married Rena Ida Kalke.

Mr. Kamin was retired, farmer a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, and the Cedar Valley Engine Club.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Marion (Norma Jean) Kamm of Charles City, Mrs. Howard (LaVonne) Plautz of Nashua, and Mrs. Robert ( Verla) Heller of rural route 3, Charles City, nine grandchildren, and one brother Helmuth Kamin of Rudd. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife.

Hage Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
