CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Angela “Angie” Grube, 85, of Charles City died Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at her home in Charles City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 106 Chapel Lane, in Charles City on Saturday, January 5, at 10 a.m. with Father Carl Ries officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Charles City.

A visitation will be held at Fullerton Funeral Home, 401 Blunt Street in Charles City on Friday, January 4, from 4-6 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 4 p.m. and Scripture Service at 5:30 p.m.

Angela “Angie” Grube, 85, of Charles City died Wednesday January 2, 2013, at her home in Charles City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 106 Chapel Lane, in Charles City on Saturday, January 5, at 10 a.m. with Father Carl Ries officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Charles City. A visitation will be held at Fullerton Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., in Charles City on Friday, Jan. 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 4 p.m. and Scripture Service at 5:30 p.m. Stories, thoughts and condolences may be shared with the family on the funeral home website at www.Fullertonfh.com. Angela was born on April 2, 1927 in Oelwein, to Laurel and Esther (Ritchie) Baker. She graduated from Maynard High School as valedictorian of her class and attended Gates Business College in Waterloo. She married Ralph Grube on June 7, 1952, in Charles City. She worked in the sales department for both Oliver and Western Union. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church where she was involved in the Guild, Rosary Society and St. Frances Circle through the years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and Pink Lady of Floyd County Medical Center. She volunteered in a number of capacities including the Senior Center in Charles City.

Those left to cherish her memories include her daughters Beverly Grube, of Charles City, and Jane (Harry) Hawley, of Marion; a brother, Frederick Baker; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ralph; and brothers George, Harvey and Keith Baker, along with two brothers in infancy.
