MRS JACOB LINES
PASSED WAY

Ida May Wagner was born in Marble Rock, Iowa, on May 13, 1874. As her life began of the year when all nature is arrayed in beautiful vesture, so did she yield that life to the Great Giver when the earth was wrapped in its snowy mantle. On January 20th, 1918, the summons was silently borne to her that one of the many Mansions was ready for her coming, and her spirit took its flight. Her faith was in God, and her church fellowship with the Disciples of Christ, at Marble Rock, many years ago.

In December, 1897, she was married to Jacob Lines, and in 1908 they moved to the neighboring state of Nebraska and established their home at Neligh. One daughter, Belva Gale, the idol of their mutual affection, was born to them on July 29, 1908. It was Mrs. Lines' misfortune to be denied that coveted boon of humanity, good health, and she finally decided to seek relief through the medium of surgical skill. A holiday visit with her aged mother here had been planned, but her physical condition prevented it, and she was taken to a hospital at Norfolk, Nebraska, on January 12th. The hopes of her anxious loved ones were raised to a high pinnacle by the first favorable reports from the rick room, but the flame of life flickered out during the quiet Sunday evening hours.

Besides a large circle of admiring friends and distant relatives, her memory is treasured by the bereaved husband and daughter, mother, one sister and three brothers.

The body was brought to Marble Rock Tuesday and the funeral services conducted by Rev. A. S. Farnham at the home of her brother, O.O. Wagner, Wednesday afternoon with interment in the West Side cemetery.
