BRADWAY RITES TO BE TUESDAY
AGED RESIDENT OF MASON CITY SUCCUMBS TO ATTACK OF HEART DISEASE

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah J. Bradway, 75 years of age, were arranged for 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the residence, 404 West State Street with the Rev. George K Davies, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, in charge. Burial will be in the Rockford Cemetery beside her husband, John H. Bradway.

The body was removed from the Randall Funeral Home to the residence where it will remain until the services are held. Mrs. Bradway died Saturday evening from an attack of heart disease. She had been in poor health for some time but was not confined to bed.

Mrs. Bradway died while sitting in a chai.. She had lost considerable strength from a fracture of her leg two years ago and had never entirely recovered from this.

On June 12, 1855 Mrs. Bradway was born at Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She was married June 22, 1877, to John H. Bradway at Rockford. For the past 16 years she made her home in Mason City. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star, the Woman’s Club, Midland Club and Fortnightly Club.

Mrs. Bradway is survived by one sister; Mrs. Alice Brough; and the following nieces and nephews; Mrs. Flora Davison, Mason City; Mrs. Ethel Morris, Muscatine; Mrs. Pearl Mulligan, Swaledale; Ray Calkins, Manly; Mrs. Odna Drury, Rockford; Miss Reva Calkins, Manly; and Roy Cutler of Los Angeles. Her grandnephews and grandnieces; Raymond and Floris Luane, children of Mrs. Calkins; and Virgil, Verona, Flora, and Reva Pearl, children of Mrs. Drury, are also living.

Sarah J. McLain was born June 12, 1855 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the daughter of Allen McLain and Flora (McDougall) McLain.

She married John H Bradway. He was born April 26, 1852 in Wisconsin and died March 15, 1913.
