FRANK BIDDICK, DAIRY OPERATOR, DIES AT 62

Rockford – Frank J. Biddick, 62, died suddenly Wednesday evening of a heart attack at his home, a mile north of Rockford.

Mr. Biddick was born in Montfort Wisconsin, and came to Rockford as a young man, where he was employed for several years by his brother at the Chapman Lumber Company.

With the exception of a few years spent at Springville he resided near Rockford, where in 1915 he engaged in farming, later combining with it the Biddick dairy business.

In 1915 he was married to Miss Gertrude Moore of Rockford.

Besides his widow, he is survived by 2 sons; Cpl. Franklin Max Biddick of Florence, South Carolina; and Donald Biddick at home; 4 brothers; Charles, Matthew and Richard Biddick of Marion; and Leslie H. Biddick of Oxford Junction; and 3 sisters; Mrs. Viola Pettera; Mrs. Verle Heller; and Mrs. Gordon Webster of Wisconsin.

Funeral services are pending word from the son in South Carolina.

Franklin Joseph “Frank” Biddick was born April 8, 1879 in Montfort, Grant County, Wisconsin, the son of Thomas Henry Biddick and Elizabeth (Nicholson) Biddick.

He married Gertrude Moore, the daughter of Sanford Moore and Ada (Cleary) Moore.
