ROCKFORD MAN’S RITES ARE HELD
FORMER POSTMASTER, HENRY E. WYATT, BURIED; LEAVES WIDOW, DAUGHTERRockford, Dec. 20 – The funeral of Henry E. Wyatt, who died Wednesday morning, was held at the home Friday afternoon with the Rev. Charles E. Luce, Methodist Episcopal pastor, in charge, and burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
Henry Edward Wyatt was born in Rockford on October 5, 1865. His father helped in platting the town of Rockford.
On September 3, 1887, he was married to Thressa Dawson, who died August 23, 1912. On June 1, 1914, he was married to Anna Britton. Mr. Wyatt was a member of the Congregational Church, Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. For 10 years he was local postmaster and for many years conducted a produce station.
He is survived by his widow and one daughter; Mrs. Floy Michell, Rockford; and one sister; Mrs. Emma Dumbolton, Eureka, Montana.
