RITES ARE HELD FOR IBENBERRY
MARBLE ROCK RESIDENT FOR MANY YEARS WAS ILL FOR ONE YEAR

Marble Rock, June 30 – Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Christian Church for Frank Ikenberry, who died Saturday night after a year of illness. The Rev. G. H. Hess was in charge.

Mr. Ikenberry, who was about 70 years old, had been a resident here for many years.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters; Mrs. Blanche Griffith of California; Mrs. Lloyd Gates of Marble Rock; Mrs. Edith Fischer of Dayton and several married sons.

Frank Edward Ikenberry was born November 2, 1861 in Illinois, the son of Elias Eikenberry and Mary R. (Harter) Eikenberry.

He married Mary Margaret Taylor, the daughter of John Taylor and Mary (Dawes) Taylor. **her parents from 1925 Iowa Census.

(d) Wilbur A 4 born April 1896 Iowa: Wilbur Allen Ikenberry born April 30, 1896; died August 17, 1944 in Lassen, California (California death index); buried Los Angeles National Cemetery, Los Angeles, California. He married Leila Maxwell.

(e) Blanche 8/12 born September 1899 Iowa: Blanche married Roscoe Griffith and he died July 25, 1932 in LA, California. She married unknown Vierra.
