FORMER RESIDENT PASSES ON AT ROCKFORD

Mrs. August Thiemann, a former resident of this vicinity, passed away on Saturday night, at her home in Rockford.
She was 75 years of age and has been in poor health for some time.

We were unable to learn what funeral arrangements have been made, as word was expected from a daughter, Mrs. Robert Arhart, at Wimbleton, North Dakota. She was also the mother of Mrs. Harley Ritter and William Thiemann, Jr.

MRS. THIEMAN, ROCKFORD, DIES
AGED RESIDENT, VICTIM OF HEART ATTACK, LEAVES THREE CHILDREN.

Rockford, Dec. 30 – Mrs. August Thieman, 77, who died at her home Saturday evening, was buried Tuesday afternoon. Death was due to heart disease and followed a long illness from which she has been an invalid for some time.

She leaves two daughters; Mrs. Minnie Ritter, Rockford; Mrs. Louise Arhart, Wimbledon, North Dakota; and one son; William, Marble Rock.
Her husband preceded her in death four years ago.
The Rev. Charles E. Luce, pastor of the Methodist Church, was in charge of the services.

Note** in the first obit she’s 75, in the 2nd one she’s 77. The age 77 agrees more with the 1900 Census, and the cemetery record is 1852. Best estimate of birth is November 1852.
