HARRY PORTER, ROCKFORD, DIES
RESIDENT WHO WAS INJURED IN ACCIDENT SUCCUMBS TO HEART DISEASE

Rockford, Oct 10 – Funeral services for Harry porter, 44, whose death occurred at a Mason City hospital yesterday, will be held Sunday afternoon.

Mr. Porter was in an auto accident and received a fractured arm and severe bruises and cuts from the car windshield. Infection set in. He was taken to the hospital Wednesday where an operation was performed. Death came suddenly from heart disease.

He was a member of the American Legion Ivan C. Walker Post.

He is survived by two sisters; Mrs. William (Cleo) Baehne of here and Mrs. Lulu Reams, Henning, Minnesota; and one brother; Arthur Porter, Rockford.

Harry Montford Porter was born February 4, 1887 in Rockford, Floyd Co., Iowa, the son of Henry Porter Jr. and Elizabeth (Mathers) Porter.
