Ora Leeoral Pringle – October 5, 1886 – March 13, 1963

O. L. PRINGLE DIES AT 76

Ora L. Pringle, 76, retired employee of the Northwestern States Portland Cement Co., died Wednesday morning at a Mason City hospital.
He retired from the plant in September 1954, with 47 years of service. He was one of the pioneers of the Northwestern States Portland Cement Co. He had lived in this area since 1903, coming here from Everly.
He was born at Lake Pleasant, Erie County, Pennsylvania on October 5, 1886.

He earned his first dollar tending a core driller on the property of the Northwestern States Portland Cement Co. He began his employment with the cement plant in 1905. For a while he did prospecting for land for other companies and then returned to the Northwestern plant in 1907. Mr. Pringle had worked in nearly every department in the plant.

He was married to Edna May Ballard, January 28, 1908.
Surviving is a son, Wayne Pringle, 320 Linden Drive.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The McAuley-Scanlan-McKasson Chapel is in charge.
