QUACKENBUSH, AVERIL EARL, of 17498 Via Arriba, San Lorenzo, died February 22, 1967; dearly beloved husband of Dorothy E. Quackenbush; loving father of Terry, Tom Averil; Deborah Lynn and Judith Quackenbush all of San Lorenzo; loving son of Averil E. and Joyce Quackenbush of Portland, Oregon; brother of Mrs. Mavis Bolin of Iowa.

A native of Iowa, aged 39 years. A member of the Cook’s Union Local No. 228 of Oakland.

Friends are invited to attend the services Tuesday morning, February 28, at 9:30 a.m. at the Chapel of the San Lorenzo Mortuary, 15778 Hesperian Boulevard, San Lorenzo. Reverend James A Andrews officiating.

Interment Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno.

Averil Jr. was married twice. His first wife was Lois Kleinschmidt, who was the mother of the Terry Quackenbush mentioned in the obit. They lived in Floyd County, Iowa when Terry graduated from high school. Lois’s 2nd husband was Louis Edwin Palmer.

Note: Averil Earl Quackenbush Jr.'s mother was Blanche Church. His father was married twice (the obit has his dad's 2nd wife as his mother)
