Nellie Viola (Parcher) Randall – September 5, 1875 – October 7, 1961

RITES HELD FOR MRS. NELLIE RANDALL

Nellie Viola Parcher was born in Floyd County September 5, 1875, and lived in the Marble Rock area her entire life. She passed away at the Chautauqua Guest Home in Charles City on October 7, 1961, at the age of 87 years, one month and two days.

She was united in marriage on May 2, 1899, with C. E. Randall and lived three miles north of Marble Rock. He passed away on January 1, 1933.

Mrs. Randall had been in poor health for several years.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; Elias and LeRoy Parcher; two sisters; Mrs. Edith Wadey; and Mrs. Belle Baltimore.

She is survived by one sister; Maude Vorhes, and eleven nieces and nephews; also many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, October 10th, in the Methodist Church in Marble Rock with Rev. George Baker officiating. Casket bearers were Phillip Parcher, Donald Parcher, Wayne Parcher, Lester Blum, Vern Vorhes and Ed Enabnit. Music was supplied by Mrs. Andrew Carney and Mrs. Donald Parcher.
Interment was in Hillside Cemetery in Marble Rock.
