PALMER DIES AT FARM HOME
YOUNG FARMER NEAR ROCKFORD SUCCUMBS FROM HEART DISEASE

Rockford – Clifford Palmer, 29, died at his farm home west of Rockford Thursday of heart disease.

He is survived by his widow, two children, Jim, 5, and Joan 4; his parents; Mr. and Mrs. Al Palmer; a brother, Russell; and a grandmother; Mrs. Florence Palmer, all of Rockford.

For three years he was assistant butter maker for the Rockford Cooperative Creamery Association. For the past year he had been farming.
He was graduated from Rockford High School. No funeral arrangements have been made.

PALMER RITES ARE CONDUCTED
YOUNG FARMER NEAR ROCKFORD SUCCUMBS FROM HEART DISEASE

Rockford – Funeral services for Clifford Palmer, 28, who died suddenly at his home Friday evening from a heart attack, were held at the Methodist church on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Charles Fort and burial in Riverside Cemetery.

Mrs. Max Walker sang; Mrs. Charles Fort accompanied her and Mrs. Caroline Houts played the funeral music.

He is survived by his wife, one son, James, 5, one daughter, Joanne, 4, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Palmer, one brother, Russell and his grandmother, Mrs. Florence Palmer of Rockford.

Since his graduation from the local school he had served as referee for basketball games for a number of years.
