A.E. "Bud" Eliason, 69, of Nora Springs, Iowa, died on Thursday, November 7, 1991, at his home.

Funeral services were held on Monday at the Wesleyan Church in Rudd. Pastor John Hand, Pastor Paul Phillips, and Pastor Steven Sorenson, officiated. Burial was in Park Cemetery in Nora Springs.

A.E. "Bud" Elizaon was born on November 25, 1922, in Kanawha, Iowa, the son of Edwin and Estella (Furleigh) Eliason. He graduated from Nora Springs High School and attended the Oliver Corporation trade school. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1946 in the 71st Cavalry Motor Pool. On June 3, 1951, he married Celene D. Nicol in Osage. He owned and operated Eliason Salvage and Used Autos in Nora Springs.

Living family members include his wife, Celene of Nora Springs; two sons, Howard J. and his family of Dallas, Texas; and James D. and his family of Albert Lea, Minnesota; two sisters, Betty Jo Huistandahl of Ellendale, North Dakota, and Mary Ann Lovell of Iowa City; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Edna Eliason of Rudd; two brothers, Lee O. and Edwin N. Eliason of Nora Springs.
