CARL WESTPHAL DIES
AT HOME AT STANWOOD

CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Mr. Carl Westphal a son of the late Christian Westphal and brother of Frieda and Ella Westphal formerly of Charles City, and now of Chicago died suddenly at his home at Stanwood, Iowa on Friday afternoon.

The funeral services were held today at Stanwood and the body was brought here for burial in Riverside Cemetery. Short services were held at the cemetery chapel previous to the interment at 4:00 p.m. The minister from Stanwood accompanied the funeral party here. Arrangements here were in charge of Chris Hauser.
