GOLDIE SHECKLER DIES AT WATERLOO
Nora Springs, Iowa – Funeral services for Mrs. Goldie L. Sheckler, 83, Waterloo, were held at a Waterloo Funeral Chapel.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd. Dr. Floyd Hinshaw of the First Methodist church, Waterloo, officiated at the funeral and also at the graveside rites.
Born at Rudd, she was the daughter of Winfield Scott Rader and Julia Cline Rader. In 1913 she was married to Thomas H. Sheckler at Clarksville. He preceded her in death.
Surviving is a sister, Miss Margaret Rader, Waterloo.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Kearns-Dykeman Chapel for Mrs. Goldie L. Scheckler, 83, of 226 Denver St., who died at 12;15 p.m. Thursday of complications of advanced age at Schoitz Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Floyd L. Hinshaw, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Rudd with graveside services at 1 p.m.
She was born July 8, 1879, the daughter of Winfield Scott and Julia Ann Cline Rader at Rudd. She received her education at Rudd and lived in Raymond and Clarksville before moving to Waterloo 30 years ago.
She married the Rev. T.H. Sheckler in 1913 at Clarksville and was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Surviving is a sister, Margaret M. Rader, of the home. She was preceded by her parents and husband.
