Services for Luella F. Young, 91, of Rudd, Iowa, were held on Saturday, December 19, 1992 at the Schumburg Funeral Home in Rockford. Pastor Delbert Dawes of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Charles City officiated, and burial was in the Sunnyside Memory Gardens at Charles City.

Mrs. Young died in Sterling, Illinois, at the Community Health Center, on Wednesday, December 16, 1992.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvil C. Young, whom she had married on April 17, 1922, and by her parents.

Loving family members include her daughter, Mrs. Fern A. Dockstader of Sterling, Illinois, a brother, Robert E. Otto of Charles City; her sister, Mrs. Bernice Thompson of Charles City; and three grandsons: Doran and Dana Dockstader of Sterling, Illinois, and Dudley Dockstader of California.
